Measurement units
Bulido stores your preferred measurement system on the company account, under Settings → Regional settings → Units.
Two options
- Metric (default): square metres (m²), linear metres (lm).
- Imperial: square feet (ft²), linear feet.
Most markets default to Metric; UK and US accounts default to Imperial.
What it changes
Your measurement system sets the unit labels shown on quotes, in the price list and on the PDF (m² ↔ ft², linear metre ↔ linear foot). Count, weight and volume units (pcs, set, kg, l) read the same in both systems.
Numbers are never converted automatically. Switching the system relabels your price list but keeps the same figures — so review your prices and room dimensions after switching, the same way you would after changing currency.
Each quote keeps its own system
When you create a quote it locks in the measurement system in use at that moment. Editing it, re-sending it or turning it into a realisation always uses that locked system — so a quote built in imperial keeps showing imperial even if you later switch the company back to metric.
