Linking Google
Bulido lets you have two sign-in methods on the same account: email + password and Google. Both lead to the same dashboard: your quotes, clients, projects. So you can pick whichever is more convenient and keep a backup if something goes wrong with one method.
The Connected accounts section under Account shows the current state: whether you have Google linked or not.
Linking a Google account
If you see "Your account is not connected to Google.", it means you created your account the classic way (email + password). To link Google:
- Open Account in the dashboard.
- Scroll to the Connected accounts section.
- Click Connect with Google.
- Pick the Google account you want to link and confirm the consent screen.
- You return to Account with the message "Google account has been connected."
After linking, the Connected accounts section shows the connection date ("Connected: {date}") and the Google account email.
Unlinking the Google account
If you want to unlink Google, in the Connected accounts section click Disconnect next to the Google tile. Bulido asks for confirmation: the dialog is titled "Disconnect Google account?" with the note "You will no longer be able to sign in via Google."
Important: Bulido won't let you unlink Google if it's the only sign-in method on your account. The Disconnect button is disabled and the tooltip says "Set a password to be able to disconnect this account." Set a password first, then unlink Google.
What about Apple ID
Linking an Apple ID to an existing account from inside the dashboard (the way Google works) is not available. The Connected accounts section only manages Google. If you signed in with Apple and have questions, contact support.
